At Empire Dance Studio, we’re proud to offer the popular READY SET DANCE program, perfect for introducing young children to the world of dance in a fun, creative, and educational environment. Our one hour Ready Set Dance classes cater to children aged 2-5 years, helping them develop essential skills while having a blast! The program caters for two levels - classes for 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds - to ensure age appropriate learning and fun.
Ready Set Dance
The class consists of 5 sections – JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, SINGING and MUSIC.
JAZZ – Dancers develop muscle control,strength, and balance while working on essential coordination milestones, like skipping, before going to school.
HIP HOP – With original hip hop tracks, kids can bust out ice cold moves, just like Freeze;earning basic hip hop steps in a playful and energetic way.
MUSIC – Our young dancers engage in fun musical activities with instruments and the parachute, helping them develop an ear for dynamics and tempo
SINGING – Children build confidence as they sing along with Twirl, our mascot, and get comfortable singing on the microphone.
TAP – In a playful way, dancers learn the fundamentals of tap dancing, splashing in puddles and shuffling like penguins. All these ingredients together create a super hour of fun!
Ready Set Ballet - Magical Ballet for Kids
Introduce your little one to the world of ballet with READY SET BALLET, a 30-minute magical ballet class designed for 2-5 year olds. Led by Twirl, our enchanting mascot, this class guides children through basic ballet steps and movements, helping them develop coordination, flexibility, and body awareness. It’s the perfect introduction to classical ballet in a playful and engaging environment. MIME: Explore creativity and gain confidence with themed activities like riding the tutu train or going on a picnic with Freeze and Twirl.

Ready Set Acro – Acrobatic Dance Classes for Preschool Kids
READY SET ACRO is a 30 or 45-minute acrobatic program specifically designed for preschool-aged children. Developed in collaboration with Acrobatic Arts, this program teaches young dancers how to build strength, flexibility, and coordination through fun, engaging and safe exercises. Whether your child is a budding gymnast or just loves to move, READY SET ACRO is the perfect introduction to acrobatic movement.
Ready Set Acro
The class consists of 3 sections – STRETCH, STRENGTH and SKILLS.
STRETCH: Increase flexibility with exercises that target all major muscle groups.
STRENGTH: Engage in fun activities that promote strength and physical control.
